Corporate Profile & History

The Chamber was established in 1960 to foster and promote the development of trade, commerce, investment and industrial technological relationships between the public and private sectors of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the United States of America. It was also to promote and enhance cultural and social interests between the two countries.
The Chamber’s objectives and goals include:

  • To promote trade and Investments between Nigeria and the US.
  • To provide timely and relevant information that will assist and enhance relations amongst our members and their
    counterparts in the US.
  • To provide increased access to trade links in the US.
  • To constitute an effective business lobby /pressure group for members.
  • To promote an enabling business environment
